Scott Kulick

Trumpet, Guitar, Bass

“The love of music has to come first. Once that is in place, anything is possible. It is with this commitment that I have built my performance and pedagogical career hand in hand. What I learn in the bandstand I put to use in teaching. It is my hope that with that knowledge, students can build their own lives around music.”

A lifelong musician, Scott Kulick’s earliest musical experiences came while growing up in Hauppauge, NY. From 2000-2010, Scott resided in Virginia. After receiving his BA in Music from Roanoke College in 2004, Scott worked as an in demand instructor/performer with one of the busiest schedules in Roanoke, VA. Scott’s students have performed at numerous venues (Martin’s, Awful Arthurs, Holiday Inn Tanglewood) and won awards for their performance.

As a performer Scott has performed/recorded with The Big Lick Brass Band, the VA Folk-Jazz Trio, Sol Creech, Abbey Road Live!, The Seed, and many more.

Scott teaches trumpet, guitar and bass lessons for students in Queens and Brooklyn.
